Hair Bundles - Types, Quality Check, and Care

Many women use hair extensions, wigs, and bundles to beautify their hair and search for the ones that go well with their skin tone or original hair. A bundle of hair is a single-weft or double-weft hair extension piece containing long-lasting 100% virgin Remy hair of excellent quality. The quality bundle makers do not treat hair with chemicals to soften them; instead, they select donors with the same hair length and whose hair follows a single direction of growth.

Types of Hair Bundles

Hair bundles are available in different lengths, between 10 to 50 inches. Most women buy hair bundles with a moderate length of 10 to 30 inches. However, celebrities or courageous experimenters often go for 50 or 40" bundles. Besides size, the hair bundles vary in types of hair. Hair in a hair bundle can be curly, wavy, kinky curly, straight, black, brown, blonde, Indian, Brazilian, Malaysian, or Peruvian. There are variations in each type of hair, and the users must carefully select the hair bundle that naturally goes with their looks.

Grading of Hair Bundles

As far as the quality of the bundle is concerned, the users should buy hair bundles in grades 6A or more. Earlier, 5A grade was the highest quality hair bundle, but with evolving technology, the parameter for quality hair has gone up. Quality hair bundles, including 40" bundles, are available in grades 6A to 10A. However, no regulatory system is followed by the manufacturer or trader of the hair bundles, and every manufacturer claims his hair bundles are superior.

Positive Correlation Between Quality and Price

It is critical to note that the higher grades in hair bundles entail higher prices, and the users pay extra for the better quality hair bundles. They can go for 6A grade bundles if they have price issues, else should buy nothing less than grades 8A or 9A. Women must ensure quality even without grades if they want to buy 30" or 40" bundles. The low-quality, long bundles, are prone to get matted and tangled, requiring more maintenance.

How to Buy a Quality Bundle?

In the absence of grades, the buyers should ensure that the hair in the bundles is Remy (indicated by intact cuticles and the same direction). They should buy hair bundles that are double-wefted and derived from a single donor and weigh around 95-100 grams. Users should avoid virgin hair treated chemically.

The Bottom Line

The users must maintain the hair bundles for their long-lasting usage. Regular proper wash, careful brushing, and weekly conditioning treatment help in the upkeep of the hair blondes. The women should not wear hair bundles while sleeping and avoid heat exposure to keep them intact.
